Orlando Real Estate

 I am a big UCF fan and love college football, so I am very excited to be going to the season opener tonight. There are a lot of great things going on at UCF these days. The opening of the new medical school received national attention. The facilities are absolutely unbelievable. A friend of mine is teaching there, and he was telling me last night they have the only wireless patient simulator in the country. They even simulate the smells - sounds kind of gross, but exciting too. With this years class there are over 52,000 students making UCF the third largest university in the nation, and the largest in the sunshine state. The ground breaking for the last part of the Alafaya Trail extension known as Innovation way was this week. When complete, it will help to connect the University, Research Park, and the Medical City.

By the way, congratulations to Winter Park High School on their fantastic football win last night. The only thing on the field that looked sharper than their running attack and run defense was the Sound of The Wildcats Marching Band. The band is about 230 strong this year, and looked and sounded great on the field and in the stands. When I look at the strides in academics, sports and the arts that are all around me here, I can't help but be optimistic about where Orlando is going.
